Plan to go on a sun holiday with your friends in the summer. And keep that in mind when trying to lose weight. That'll help you keep motivated.

Try not to blame your family, that means your not blaming yourself when you eat those cookies... if you did blame yourself, the impending guilt might make you reconsider.

i find i'm able to get fit in about 3-4 weeks when i need to.....

-drink lots of water.
a lot of people mistake thirst for hunger, so keep your self well watered. plus it's great for the skin. Just aim to keep a cool bottle of water with you 24-7, not in your bag, in your hand. that way you'll drink it just because it's there..... trust me, it won't seem like such a pain after a week or so.

- Don't eat out of boredom.
this is the kicker for many people who are only slightly overweight.... Instead of eating when you are bored, replace it with something else. Personally i drink tea, or juice. Tea, i find, is a great way to fill your stomach for a little while so you don't have to snack between meals....
Also, it'll be something to do when you go into the kitchen. I find if i eat a packet of crisps, which you can still do from time to time( i'm no diet nazi ) i will always want another, just because they taste nice.... tea cleanses your pallet, and eliminated those cravings.

-exercise at the same time each day.
Self-motivation is an issue for some people. I struggle to motivate myself. It's easy to go through a day and say 'oh, i didn't have any free time' and you won't feel at all guilty for not exercising. If you set a time, Eg first thing when you get home from work/school. That time will come around, and you will know you're supposed to be exercising, and you will feel a little guilty if you don't. that guilty feeling will help motivate you.

-Exercise is supposed to be tiring.
Try to put a lot of effort into exercising. It's easy to fall into the habbit of just going through the motions of exercise, especially in a big gym. Anything with reps can be deceiving. You get to your 30 reps and think... ''right, i've toned my whatever... on to the next one'' but are you really tired? do you feel a 'burn' in the area you've targeted... if it's cardio, did you break a sweat? If not, keep doing it until you do.

Really weight loss is all about self discipline. If you get your priorities right, and are willing to work, you'll see results. But more importantly, even before you feel results, if you've worked really hard you'll know yourself, and feel good about it.

Good luck =]

The Adkins Diet worked wonders for me, I lost about 3 pounds per week. You should really look into it if you are serious about losing weight; however, keep in mind, that dieting alone is not going to give you the results you are looking for. Maybe get a membership to a gym, jog around the block, or play a sport with some friends.
Losing weight requires a combination of exercise and eating healthy.

If you seem to find that nothing is working, find a doctor that will prescribe you phentermine, or something of that sort..

I hope this helps.

You could try not eating after 6, eat more fruits and veggies, and exercise some. I'm trying to do the same thing. If you wanted we could work together. If not good luck!

First of all, your gonna have to remove all the high-calorie sugar filled chips put of your cabinets, pantrys and fridge. Don't buy anymore cookies or anything unhealthy

Start a weight program I suggest jenni craig if you can find one anywhere in your area. You can't go back to eating what you what all the time and I understand that's hard. Only buy jeni craig food and try not to get any snacks.

Try and work out an exerisize plan too. Visit a local gym if you can.

my friend used weight watcher points and had really good luck with that, I know several people in the past that went to TOPS (take pounds off sensible) and if you look online there are quite a few sites (many free) that have online support. Good luck, it is so hard when you are facing junk food at home. My husband has weight / health issues so I never buy anything large to bring home, if he or I really want something I just get single portions so that they are not left in the house.

Just eat healhtier, you don't need a program to help you out, if you really want it you can do it, I lost 21 pounds in 3 weeks, I was eating 3 meals a day, cut out the junk food, I hit the gym 5 nights a week, I would run for 30 mins, work out a different part of my body, hit the sauna for 30 mins, then swim. It really worked for me and I didn't use no fancy program, and you don't need no one to help you but yourself. because in the end that's who you are doing it for right?

You should really tell whoever you live with to try and help you and support you. Tell them that it would be really great of them if they could help.

Also, try and stay outside for as long as you can and when you get a craving for something, drink lots of water.
