Best Swimming Program to lose weight for a beginner?

I am a good swimmer, when I say beginner I mean this is my first time using swimming for losing weight and toning up. My query is how many laps i should do of each stroke and how long I should be in the water for a good session.

    Excersice with a float belt around your waist. make you your back is upright. and do fast walking standing. it increases your heart rate and is great cardio!

    swim as far as u can without a break. take a break for a couple of minutes and try to do the same amount again. Make sure that you get at least 20 minutes of actual exercise, so if you need to, you might need to do more than 2 sets of laps. On the next day, try to swim as far as you did yesterday, but do it without a break. take a little break and try to swim the same distance again (don’t worry if you weren’t able to double it either after the break or on the next day.) Every day thereafter, try to add a few laps to your total. Try to get up to an hour of swimming and hopefully about 6 workouts per week (at least 3 or 4.)
